Just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas! We are able to be with family, which is such a blessing. Last night, the kids and I decorated Christmas cookies, which is just about the extent of yesterday’s creations! They sure look and taste good!

I added butter and salt to mine, and the kids added sugar and milk to theirs. Good comfort food! And this isn’t not an affiliate link at all, but check out the Homestead here. They are a community here in Texas that lives a simple life based on their love for God, and they really work hard to be self sustaining. So they mill their own grains, spin and weave their own wool, raise their own veggies, and on and on and on. It’s a pretty interesting place if you get to visit. Lots to learn. Perhaps Deb and I need to take another field trip!
