Studio Daydreaming

I shared last week that we are all done with workers in the house (thank goodness!) And thanks to my husband for all of the work he has done to get everything done right!

My husband is working on the floors now, and he is doing an amazing job! My studio is in the basement, and because the basement flooded, I do not want to even risk the possibility that it will flood again, so we are going with an epoxy floor in the studio, play room, and laundry room. He did my laundry room already, and I am in love with how shiny it is, easy to clean and the deep blue looks great with my Pinky Beige walls!

My very empty laundry room- floors look great!

He is prepping the playroom and my studio now for the same dark color, and I am planning the organization of the studio, and what I want the room to look like. I have put together some links for organization ideas that I wanted to share! And in some cases, I have added a link for you to purchase if you like what you see! Let me know if you need updated links, but in the meantime, enjoy, Pin and Share this post! Thank you!

Wow, this woman has some great ideas! I love the double decker lazy Susan!!! Here is a cute one from Amazon…

Just don’t spin it too quickly! I especially love that it is made of Bamboo, which is a sustainable material, and built to last.

I always struggle with the various shapes and sizes of papers and storage. Like, where do I let things dry? How do I store paper that is larger than my shelves? I like to work big, so I sometimes purchase large and cut it down. I might have an idea for a desk I want to build to accommodate larger than usual paper sizes, but maybe this would be the way to go? Have you tried this system yourself?

I like the idea of a pegboard for many reasons in the studio! This one is an interesting shape, and comes in either solid colors, or translucent colors! What a great way to add a pop of color to the art studio!

Or maybe a galvanized peg board! Ooooh, that can hold some heavy tools!

And of course you might need the accessories that go with it!

Oh wow, this might be something I need to do to store my finished canvases- plus a great pegboard idea too! I specifically want my finished paintings, and canvases up off of the floor in case of future flooding. What do you all do for your art supply and finished painting storage items?

I love IKEA! So many ways to utilize their pieces! Don’t forget about this post that I made a while back on how to hang a wall easel- removable in case you need to adjust its height. Check it out here!

Tell me your storage ideas! I need all the help I can get. Feel free to check out my Pinterest page of organization ideas!
