As a Board Certified, Registered Art Therapist Clinical Supervisor and Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor with 20 years of experience in the field, consultation and supervision services with Heidi Tournoux-Hanshaw will provide a solid foundation for the work you are doing with your clients.
Art Therapy Consultation: Our consultation services provide art therapists and counselors with a unique blend of clinical expertise and creative support, guiding you through ethical decision-making and enhancing your therapeutic effectiveness. This is appropriate for all clinicians that have completed their supervision and are fully licensed or certified in their respective fields. This level of consultation is perfect for the clinician that is working independently and needs someone to consult with on professional practices, ethics and discuss ways to integrate creativity and expression into the counseling process.
Innovative Supervision: Engage in supervision that goes beyond the ordinary. Our sessions incorporate art-making and reflective practices, empowering you to navigate the complexities of your clinical work with confidence. Designed with the working professional in mind, Heidi offers a combination of individual/tridaic supervision where we conceptualize cases and theory of change. She also offers group supervision sessions that incorporate hands-on, art therapy experientials, so that we can all reflect on our processes as clinicians from a deeper level. Offered on weekends and during select week-day appointment times with the professional clinician in mind.
Need A Supervisor?: Our supervision services are designed to help you grow as a therapist by integrating creative processes into your professional development, fostering both clinical skills and self-awareness. With supervisory status through both the Art Therapy Credentials Board, and the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council for Licensed Professional Counselors, Heidi Tournoux-Hanshaw can supervise your clinical hours from a creative lense. With a high regard for ethics codes, you will be steered in best practices in both fields, while using art and creative examples to enhance your learning and growth as a new clinician in the field. While Heidi is passionate to grow the field of Art Therapy in Texas, she is practical and knows that clinicians are working with creative materials all the time with clients, and is dedicated to making sure that her clinicians are able to safely use creativity with their clients. Heidi is passionate about working with new clinicians, and supervises through the lense of positive psychology supervision.
